After graduating, she was invited to Italy to compete alongside company members of Ballet San Jose and garnered two first place awards in both ballet and character dance. In order to pursue her studies, she decided to study at The Boston Conservatory on scholarship with notable teachers such as Luis Fuente, Adriana Suarez, and Jennifer Scanlon. There she performed soloist roles in an array of pieces including Martha Graham’s Night Journey staged by Yuriko and Antony Tudor’s Dark Elegies staged by Donald Mahler. Upon graduating in 2008 Magna Cum Laude with a BFA in dance, she joined BalletRox in Boston, Ma where she quickly rose to be the youngest female principal in BalletRox history.
